Unconscious Bias | Mr. Buzzer - | TEDxUniversitasAirlangga

In today’s complex political landscape, subtle, unconscious biases shape public perceptions in ways we may not always recognize. From stereotypes to media narratives, these small, often unnoticed factors can heavily influence how people understand political issues, form opinions about public figures, and interpret government actions. These biases not only impact personal perspectives but also contribute to larger political divides and societal conflicts. By identifying and confronting these hidden influences, we can foster a more informed and open political dialogue—especially among young audiences—helping to create an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and lasting change is possible. Buzzer is an Indonesian content creator and "internet politician" who uses humor and satire to make politics accessible to the young audience. Through his podcast The Based Indonesian Talk, he covers topics like democracy and elections, encouraging critical thinking and political engagement. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
