Professional travel bloggers and content creators since 2011 and digital entrepreneurs. Daniele Dondi is Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of Pavia. He obtained a PhD in photochemistry by developing a new photocatalyst that is still used internationally. His research interests range from sustainable chemistry for materials development to studies on the origin of life. He is working on many international interdisciplinary research projects involving physicists, biologists and engineers. Recently, he has been developing a fully open-source robot system to automate dangerous manipulations in the laboratory. He is a co-author of more than 140 international papers, has a patent for the production of plastics from frying oils and dabbles in 3D printing This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
