A szövet | dr.

From building the digital world to cultivating a regenerative farm—Márta Tkacsik’s story is about patterns, connections, and woven structures. Once a pioneer in the development of the Internet, today she explores and nurtures the intricate systems of the natural world. In her talk, she delves into how human life and nature are interwoven, why the modern world’s “optimized threads” make us vulnerable, and how we can reclaim a more resilient, nature-connected way of living. An inspiring and thought-provoking journey into why even the smallest living beings play a vital role—both within us and around us.

By observing and understanding the rich and complex social lives of wild chimpanzees, sometimes unique and often so similar to ours, Adrian will create an opportunity to look into a mirror to our ancient past while at the same time take a deeper look at the core of our modern social experiences. Adrian is a primatologist doing scientific research on animal behaviour and cognition. He focuses on studying the social behaviours of wild chimpanzees, including how they communicate with sounds and gestures and what this may tell us about the evolution of our language. He has obtained his master in comparative psychology at the Univerity of St Andrews (UK), his PhD in biology at the University of Neuchâtel, and after a Postdoc in the UK he now holds a Postdoc position at the University of Zürich comparing bonobos and chimpanzees. He has a passion for photography, which helps him capture the rare moments he observed during his studies in the field.”Academic : https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=2yKvoGEAAAAJ&hl=en Website : https://adriansoldati.com Linkedin : https://www.linkedin.com/in/adrian-soldati This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
