Selma Uamusse released her debut album Mati in 2018, praised by critics and showcased on national and international stages with over 60 concerts. Mati unfolds as two journeys: a geographic one, rooted in Mozambican sounds and identity, and a spiritual exploration that infiltrates those who listen. In 2020, she released Liwoningo, blending African influences with global elements, from folklore to electronic, rock, Afrobeat, and experimental sounds.
