Aradhana shares a journey that began in silence. As a toddler, she faced delayed speech milestones, followed by years of struggling with a stutter. Words didn’t come easy—but her will did. Today, she stands tall as a public speaker on stages like TED, turning what once held her back into the very thing that propels her forward.Her story is one of raw resilience, shaped by the quiet strength of her family’s unwavering support. She speaks about how every opportunity, no matter how small, must be seized—because progress is built one brave moment at a time. Aradhana is living proof that your voice is not defined by how it starts, but by the courage it carries. I am Aradhana. I find joy in public speaking and connecting with others while tackling the challenges that arise in my path. I’ve given several personal development talks and am passionate about biological sciences, change, and continuous learning. I also enjoy playing tennis and have gained insights through experiential learning with experts in aviation and medicine. I am excited to participate in this TEDx Meet 2025 here at Good Shepherd International School to share my experiences and the lessons I’ve learned from my 14 years of life. After graduating from TED Ankara Koleji High School, he was admitted to Middle East Technical University where he had his B.S. in management in 1979 and M.B.A. in 1980. He received his Ph.D. in finance at Syracuse University in 1986. Before joining Bilkent University, he taught at Ball State University and Middle East Technical University. He has served as the dean of the Faculty of Business Administration between 1991-2004. He has also worked as a consultant at the Research Department of the Central Bank of Turkey between 1988-93. He taught at Michigan State University in spring 2000. He is currently a professor of finance and the Rector of Bilkent University.
