Ian Carlo Mendoza convida-nos a descobrir o “Ritmo das Padeiras”, uma prática tradicional de Castilla y León (Espanha) que aprendeu com uma padeira local. Entre o simbolismo do pão e das sementes, a sua narrativa mostra como a criatividade pode reinventar legados ancestrais e perpetuar o sentido profundo das nossas raízes. “Na tua ideia está a semente” — uma lembrança inspiradora sobre a força da imaginação e a beleza de cada gesto simples, sublinhando a intemporalidade da herança cultural.
Mexicano, nascido em Culiacán, Sinaloa, em 1979. Estudou bateria na Escuela de Música da Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (EMUAS) e licenciou-se em percussão clássica na Escuela de Artes José Limón da Dirección de Investigación y Fomento de la Cultura Regional. Complementou a sua formação com masterclasses, workshops e cursos na Universidad Autónoma de México e na Academia de Amadores de Música de Lisboa.
Cofundador dos conjuntos de percussão contemporânea Ketiak Percussion Ensemble e Kiclaroian Experimental Percussion. Foi percussionista convidado da Orquestra de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (Guanajuato, México).
Em 2008, coproduziu a mostra Estaciones para a Lux Boreal Danza Contemporanea (comissão do governo mexicano para a Expo Zaragoza 2008). A sua composição inclui peças como A Idade de Ouro e A Ilha dos Deuses (comédia dell’arte, encenada por Filipe Crawford), Eu, a Mulher Macaco, De que são feitos os sonhos?, O som das coisas e O Pequeno Príncipe (Companhia de Marionetas Valdevinos). She worked as an editor and presenter on programs such as "20. Saat", "13 Agency", "Bıldıgın Gibi Değil" and "Burası Haftasonu" on Habertürk TV. She served as assistant news director and on-screen presenter on the "Ana Haber" program on Kanal 1. He enjoys learning and is always looking for opportunities to meet new people. He is a budding photographer, as well as being an avid reader and also working on paper-craft, namely quilling. He values his academics and his extra-curricular, which is why he practices badminton and cricket. His favorite subject areas include math, science, and history.
