Giusi Battaglia nasce a Palermo nel 1976 e, appassionata di comunicazione, si iscrive alla facoltà di Giornalismo e Ufficio Stampa nella sua città natale. Dopo la laurea, nel 2005 si trasferisce a Milano dove trova lavoro e completa la sua “gavetta”. Decide poi di aprire la propria agenzia di comunicazione, con la quale inizia le prime importanti collaborazioni nel campo dello spettacolo, assistendo l’ufficio stampa di personaggi famosi come Benedetta Parodi, Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Enzo Miccio, Ficarra e Picone. Durante la grave pandemia di Covid-19, il settore della comunicazione vive una fase di crisi; Giusina utilizzerà il lockdown per reinventarsi e dedicarsi alla sua vecchia passione: la cucina. Il successo delle sue ricette sui social non passerà inosservato e Gesualdo Vercio, senior programming director di Real Time e Food Network, contatterà Giusi per realizzare un nuovo programma tv con un format inedito, dal taglio intimo, girato in una cucina semplice e senza grosse pretese. Sarà proprio questa atmosfera casalinga la chiave del successo di Giusina in cucina – La Sicilia a tavola, il cooking show in onda su Food Netowrk che renderà Giusi Battaglia nota al grande pubblico, grazie al suo viaggio attraverso le ricette della tradizione palermitana e della sua amata Sicilia. Gürses began her media career as a reporter at ATV News Center and later appeared on programs such as "Gece Hattı" and "Kırmızı Koltuk" on Star TV. She worked as an editor and presenter on programs such as "20. Saat", "13 Agency", "Bıldıgın Gibi Değil" and "Burası Haftasonu" on Habertürk TV. He enjoys learning and is always looking for opportunities to meet new people. He is a budding photographer, as well as being an avid reader and also working on paper-craft, namely quilling. He values his academics and his extra-curricular, which is why he practices badminton and cricket. His favorite subject areas include math, science, and history.
