Thomas Zimmermann, bizi 7 milyon yıl öncesine götürerek "vizyon" kavramını sadece fiziksel bir yeti olarak değil, insanın evrimsel yolculuğundaki yaratıcı ve yön bulucu kapasitesi olarak ele alıyor. Thomas Zimmermann, antropoloji, arkeoloji ve felsefeyi ustalıkla harmanladığı konuşmasında bizi sadece geçmişimize değil, kendi zihnimizin derinliklerine de bir keşfe davet ediyor. Thomas Zimmermann, Pre- ve Protohistorya, Avrupa Etnolojisi ve Klasik Arkeoloji alanındaki çalışmalarını tamamladığı Regensburg Üniversitesi'nden mezun oldu. Doktora projesi için Römisch-Germanische Zentralmuseum Mainz'de, Early Elites Araştırma Kümesi'nin bir parçası olarak hançerli Bakır Çağı mezarlarını teknolojik ve sosyal boyutlarıyla inceliyordu. 2003 yılında doğunun cazibesine yenik düşerek Türkiye'ye taşındı ve şu anda Ankara Bilkent Üniversitesi Arkeoloji Bölümü'nde Doçent olarak atanmaktadır. Çok yönlü araştırma ilgi alanları arasında arkeoloji bilimi, erken dönem metalurji, MÖ 3. binyıl Küçük Asya'da seçkinlerin ortaya çıkışı ve arkeolojik metodoloji tarihi yer alır. Uluslararası hakemli dergilerde çok sayıda makale yayınladı; yüksek lisans ve doktora tezleri monografi olarak yayınlandı (RGZM Katalog ve Monograf Serisi, 2006 ve 2007); Charles Gates ve Jacques Morin'le birlikte "Anadolu'da Kutsal Manzaralar" konferans bildirilerinin ortak editörlüğünü yaptı. Its meaning varies from person to person, encompassing mental health, personal fulfillment, and diverse cultural perspectives—there is success in all these forms. Grace is a grade 11 student from M.M. Robinson High School in Burlington, Ontario. Her speech revolves around the idea of success and how we as a society may benefit from shifting our conventional view on the topic. This is a true passion for Grace as she believes that societal stress and the pressures of living up to standards is causing more harm than good. Outside of speaking, she is an acid student and leader, involving herself in as many extracurriculars as possible including student council, drama council, tech cre, link crew, student senate, and the Central Ontario Leadership Seminars Alumni Committee, giving back to her community through volunteering at the Burlington Food Bank, and more. Grace is a very passionate student and is dedicated to doing the best she can to achieve her goal of becoming a doctor when she grows up.
