Guzy mózgu u dzieci: Kiedy pokonamy najbardziej śmiertelne nowotwory | Szymon Lipiec | TEDxUni Opole
Guzy mózgu to najgroźniejsze nowotwory wieku dziecięcego, a wśród nich rozlany naciekający glejak mostu (DIPG) rokuje najgorzej. Szymon Lipiec is a PhD candidate at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology and a medical student at the Medical University of Warsaw. He has completed research internships at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute at the University of Cambridge and the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg. His scientific work focuses on malignant brain tumors in children, with a particular interest in the role of the microenvironment and epigenetics in these cancers.
