Kiana Del highlights the power of using your voice as a tool for liberation and healing. Kiana shares her personal journey of using the practice of music-making to break free from societal constraints, especially as a Black woman navigating a world of barriers. Combining performance and audience participation with an exploration of somatic healing, Kiana emphasizes the connection between mind and body, using breath control and vocal techniques to regulate emotions and connect with yourself and others. Drawing from African ancestral traditions, she invites the audience to embrace their own voice for self-expression, healing, and advocacy.
