Waves that Transform the World: Developing Your Genius | Tumi Abu | TEDxStart Rite Schools Abuja

This presentation encourages young people to recognise and develop their unique gifts. Tumi explores the idea that everyone carries a form of genius, whether in art, science, leadership, or empathy, that can shape the world in meaningful ways. Using the image of waves, the talk illustrates how even small efforts, when guided by purpose and consistency, can create powerful and lasting impact. It challenges the audience to move beyond comparison, discover their strengths, and take bold steps toward personal growth.Tumi Abu's hobbies are painting, reading, and exploring food recipes. She loves traveling and hotel stays. She was the head girl at her primary school and Immediate past Head girl and president of student of SRC at the Riverbank secondary school Where she initiated a talent show that has ignited the creativity students never knew they had. She loves to dedicate some time to community service- been part of yearly charity visit to Makoko primary school since about age 6. She enjoys spending time at Alain’s Francis where she’s more opportunity at practicing speaking French -a near fluent second language and plays violin. She aspires to study medicine and currently taking advanced placement courses at the Oxbridge Tutorial Center Lekki.
