Objections to municipal violations and fines to be processed electronically within 15 days of submission
Saudi Gazette report
RIYADH — The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced that objections to municipal violations, fines, and procedures will be processed electronically via the Unified Objections Platform within a maximum of 15 days from the date of submission of the application.
The ministry explained in a press statement on Monday that the platform allows objection requests to be received and processed without the need to personally visit the ministry's headquarters or mayoralties and branch municipalities, noting that this contributes to facilitating procedures and improving the experience of beneficiaries and customers.
This process is carried out in accordance with unified procedures among the relevant regulatory authorities, reflecting the ministry's commitment to fairness, transparency, and rapid response.
Beneficiaries can submit their objections electronically regarding violations, fines, and municipal license applications via the Balady platform or app, with the ability to track the status of the application in real time via the link: https://balady.gov.sa/ar/products.
The platform's services cover individuals, both citizens and residents, whether owners or tenants, as well as commercial and service establishments, business sectors, real estate developers, and anyone who has been subject to any of the penalties stipulated in the Municipal Violations Regulations.
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing continues to develop its oversight and legislative tools by working to unify oversight standards, enhance digital transparency, and ensure justice for all stakeholders and beneficiaries in all procedures related to municipal licensing and oversight.
