Deputy Emir of Makkah reviews crowd control plans for Khatm Al-Qur'an at Grand Mosque

RIYADH — Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mishaal chaired on Wednesday the Central Hajj Committee's meeting to review various agencies' plans for the remaining days of the holy month, particularly the conclusion of the Holy Qur'an recitation (Khatm Al-Qur'an) on the 29th night of Ramadan at the Grand Mosque. This is in line with the directives of Advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Emir of Makkah Region and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee Prince Khaled Al-Faisal.
During the meeting, Prince Saud conveyed the greetings of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal to the officials and all employees of various agencies for their efforts to facilitate the pilgrims perform their rituals in ease and comfort. He emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to achieve the leadership's aspirations.
The deputy emir listened to a briefing on the agencies' work, most notably the crowd management plans to control flows to ensure the safety of worshipers and pilgrims, in addition to plans to organize traffic management and the readiness of public transportation stations.
The committee discussed the latest developments regarding the concerned agencies' plans and preparedness for Hajj 2025. It reviewed a number of other topics on the agenda, and made the necessary recommendations.
