Palestinian president awards Star of Jerusalem Medal to Saudi ambassador

RAMALLAH— Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas awarded the Star of Jerusalem Medal to the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, the Non-resident Ambassador-designate to the State of Palestine Naif Al-Sudairi during a ceremony in Ramallah on Sunday. The honor was granted on the occasion of the end of Al-Sudairi’s duties as the non-resident Saudi Ambassador to Palestine.
President Abbas commended Ambassador Al-Sudairi for his significant efforts in strengthening the fraternal relations between the two nations and their peoples. He extended his best wishes for the ambassador’s continued success.
The president also expressed deep appreciation of the unwavering support of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, for the Kingdom’s consistent backing of the Palestinian people and their just cause at all levels.
