Saudi Arabia strongly condemns Israeli military escalation in Gaza
Saudi Gazette report
RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia's strongest condemnation of the escalation of the Israeli military occupation in the northern and southern Gaza, and its expansion into large parts of the strip.
"This contradicts the will of the international community, human rights law, and United Nations conventions, and hinders the achievement of peace and stability in the region," the ministry said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
Saudi Arabia reiterated its condemnation and denunciation of all ground operations carried out by the Israeli occupation forces as these threaten the lives of Palestinian civilians and exacerbate the humanitarian suffering of the Gaza population. The ministry warned of the danger of continuing these flagrant and unjustified violations against the Palestinian people.
