Saudi Arabia launches pavilion at Rabat International Book Fair 2025

RABAT — Saudi Arabia has officially launched its national pavilion at the 30th edition of the International Publishing and Book Fair 2025, taking place in the Moroccan capital Rabat from April 17 to 27, under the supervision of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission and with the participation of leading cultural and educational entities.
Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Wasil, CEO of the Literature Commission, said the Kingdom's participation emphasizes the importance of supporting Saudi publishers and literary agents globally, promoting intellectual production, and showcasing the nation’s rich cultural heritage.
The Saudi Pavilion reflects the diversity and integration of the Kingdom’s cultural scene, with participation from prominent institutions such as the King Salman International Complex for the Arabic Language, King Abdulaziz Public Library, King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, and Taibah University.
The initiative seeks to deepen cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Morocco, foster mutual cooperation, and attract cultural investment opportunities, in line with Vision 2030's objective of positioning culture as a pillar of sustainable development and intercultural dialogue.
Organized by Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communications, the Rabat Book Fair is one of the Arab world’s foremost cultural events. The 2025 edition features 743 exhibitors from 50 countries, offering Saudi Arabia a high-profile platform to amplify its global cultural presence.
