Reshape your internal narrative | Anda del Rosario | TEDxUPV Women
Have you ever felt like a headless chicken—scattered, lost, and overwhelmed? That feeling often stems from the stories we tell ourselves. In this empowering TEDx Talk, leadership coach Anda del Rosario explores the transformative power of identifying and reshaping our internal narratives—our "anchors."We think tens of thousands of thoughts daily, and research shows that 80% of them are negative, with most being repetitive. These thoughts, often rooted in childhood experiences, shape how we see ourselves and the world. When left unexamined, they become negative anchors that dictate our actions, limit our growth, and keep us stuck in unhealthy patterns.Through personal stories and coaching insights, the speaker reveals how recognizing a childhood belief of “I’m not good enough” led to years of people-pleasing and self-neglect.But by uncovering this narrative and replacing it with a positive anchor—“I am good, and I am enough”—everything changed: relationships, career, and inner peace. The talk introduces a three-step process:Identify the barrier and root causeRecognize the story you’ve been telling yourselfCreate and practice a positive anchor that empowers youThis isn’t just self-talk—it’s deep psychological work that reshapes decision-making, relationships, and leadership. It will give you practical questions you can ask yourself to uncover own anchors and tools to start shifting them.Ultimately, this talk is a call to step outside the mental box of limiting beliefs. It’s an invitation to choose thoughts that support growth, happiness, and authenticity. You are not your past. You are the stories you choose to believe—and it’s time to anchor into a better one.
