Climate change is one of the biggest threats facing our country today. Tackling climate concerns implies going beyond addressing the concerns of one generation, it involves acknowledging organizational roles in fighting the climate crisis and connecting generations to collaboratively seek
solutions. Can building workplaces with strong communities be one of the highly imperative approaches for constructing collective resilience? Can companies help ease climate anxiety and bring about a sustainable society?The idea is to understand how climate change Is reshaping our world, and presenting a powerful opportunity for corporations to make an impact while growing our resources and creating a sustainable future. A climate activist and an entrepreneur at heart, Arundhati firmly believes that as individuals and communities we can play a significant role in mitigating climate impact. Extremely passionate about sustainability and global causes such as climate warming, environment conservation, reducing plastic pollution, and the role of individual consumption patterns on climate change led her to establish Beej, India’s first plant-based premium accessories brand in 2019. Arundhati was awarded with the Elle Eco-innovation award 2024 and Her Circle Bizruptor of the Year – Editors Choice award 2024 for setting a new standard in ethical luxury through her brand. Arundhati is an active voice in the sustainability community within India. She’s a guest faculty at leading fashion and design colleges including NIFT and NID and a Mentor with Niti Aayog. As a single mother and someone who did a mid-career pivot at 40, she sees the world as it can be and not how it is and that’s her energy source.
