Ms. Rochester, Psychology Teacher at Champlain College Saint-Lambert, considers that learning and accomplishments in the classroom are meaningful when both teacher and student learn from each other but more importantly through the development of self-determination. The breakdown of self determination theory to illustrate motivation in and out of the classroom and out. A psychology teacher at Champlain College for close to 15 years, Mrs. Rochester came to teaching through a series of events that required self-determination to bring her academic journey to fruition. In her continued motivation to develop, Quinn-Issla recently became a yoga instructor, practices meditation and continues to teach and learn with her students.
