How meaningful conversations can transcend words | Katre Okan | TEDxInternationalSchoolOfHyderabad

What if the most meaningful conversations in your life weren’t spoken at all? This talk explores how we can foster deeper connections by transcending language barriers—learning to communicate not just with people, but with the quiet dialogue of the world around us. Katre Okan is an IBDP 2 student at the International School of Hyderabad, studying History, English Language & Literature, and Math AI at Higher Level. Having lived across India, South Korea, Greece, and Turkey, she has developed a deep interest in politics and art. In this talk, she challenges the notion that language defines connection, arguing that true communication happens through shared human moments, energy and unspoken understanding. "What if the most meaningful conversations in your life weren’t spoken at all?" she asks. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
