In the age of AI, do we still need real human engagement? Fabian Lemuel Pillay explores why human connection remains essential, even as technology takes over more aspects of our lives. As we embrace AI, how can we ensure that cultural identity and personal interactions aren’t lost along the way? Fabian is a qualified attorney in his home country but now teaches academic research writing to high school students in Shanghai. He has been an active Toastmasters member and has served in leadership positions. In 2022, he won the Area level contest in Shanghai for the International Speech contest and reached the Shanghai District contests for impromptu speaking.
