This talk shares a journey of finding personal art style through a small character named Dob. Where he was initially inspired by complex illustrations a la Where's Waldo? and then tried to develop it with a style full of detail and rich isometric backgrounds. This talk explores self-identity and the impact of personal branding, using gado-gado as a metaphor for human complexity. While cheese may be something we eat without a second thought, in this talk, Dylan compare our lives with cheese, and that despite it's unique flavours and ways of creation, we too are like cheese. We all have different representations of ourselves and the potential to become something "delicious". With a passion for creation ingrained in him since childhood, Dylan Sheen, a grade 12 student at Old Scona Academic, has been drawn (quite literally) into the realms of art and design.
