Break Free from Other People's Opinions | Tohirjon Ulmasov | TEDxBMU Tashkent

How often do we let the fear of judgment dictate our choices? This talk explores the psychological and societal pressures that keep us from living authentically. Through personal experiences and thought-provoking insights, he challenges the notion of seeking external validation and encourages us to embrace self-acceptance. His talk provides a roadmap for breaking free from limiting beliefs and building the confidence to pursue our true passions—without fear of what others might think. A student at Najot Ta’lim and an intern at EPAM Systems, Tohirjon Ulmasov sees technology as more than just coding—it’s a tool for breaking boundaries. Passionate about AI, software development, and digital transformation, he is constantly pushing the limits of what’s possible. But beyond his technical expertise, he is a mentor, a community leader, and an advocate for growth within Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem. Whether working on projects at Najot Ta’lim or representing Uzbekistan’s tech community, Tohirjon is on a mission to challenge limitations—both technological and personal—and inspire others to do the same. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
