At TEDx FTUHanoi 2024, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang - Founder and CEO of FPT Semiconductor - guided the audience on a journey back in time to reflect on this path to the present day. Vietnam is now once again trying to conquer the world with “semiconductor chips.” The audience was captivated by the journey to conquer the global semiconductor industry through three significant phases, starting with the Z181 Factory and culminating in FPT's PMIC chips. Moreover, in today's era, Vietnam stands at the precipice of securing a position on the global semiconductor map, and to realize this ambitious goal, the greatest opportunity lies with Vietnam's youth. With “Make in Vietnam” chips, Mr. Quang believes that Vietnam's young generation will continue the 40-year journey and fulfill the dream of our ancestors! In 2022, Nguyen Vinh Quang established FPT Semiconductor, carrying on the long-held ambition of producing "Make in Vietnam" semiconductors. This venture has resulted in the creation of the first microchips for IoT applications in the healthcare sector, marking a significant breakthrough in affirming Vietnam's technological prowess.
