Pusula her zaman kuzeyi mi gösterir? | Gülşah Şişman | TEDxTarsusAmericanCollege
Gülşah Şişman explores what it means to find the right direction in a non-linear, dynamic career journey, questioning whether traditional linear paths are the only option. She highlights the strengths that guide her — such as observation, relationship-building, and the ability to transform imagination into action — and invites the audience to consider: What direction does your inner compass point to? Dr. Gülşah Şişman is a business professional, academic, and coach focused on personal and professional development. She holds an engineering degree from METU, an MBA from Yıldız Technical University, and a PhD in Business Administration from Çukurova University, where she is now a faculty member. With experience at Koç and Sabancı Holdings in employer branding and HR, she founded Gelişim Enstitüsü in 2017 to support individuals' growth. Committed to social responsibility, she actively supports women and youth through the Adana Soroptimist Association. - 13:08Microagressions Under a Microscope | Elisha Dalmeida | TEDxJenks YouthMy Ted Talk this year will be on micro aggressions, which can be defined as “subtle discrimination.” I chose this topic because often times we fail to realize that some of the things we say or do can be harmful or micro-aggressive, so that’s what I want to educate on! After high school, I’ll be attending Lafayette College to major in political science! Hello! My name is Elisha Dalmeida and I’m currently a senior at Jenks High School! I was a TedX speaker last year and am proud to be one again this year. I’m involved in speech & debate, theatre, mock trial, pre med, and a handful of other activities.
