Raised by his grandfather, Omofemi's Yoruba roots deeply influence his art. Despite financial challenges, he pursued his passion, refining his skills at The Polytechnic, Ibadan. His work, characterized by vivid colors and natural Afro hairstyles, challenges Western beauty standards and celebrates African heritage.Omofemi achieved global acclaim with exhibitions across Europe, Africa, and the U.S., including a landmark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. In 2021, he founded the Oluwole Omofemi Foundation to support young African artists and co-founded PieceUnique, an agency promoting African talent globally. Through his art and philanthropy, Omofemi champions African culture and identity on the world stage.
