Dr Nims holds a PhD. in Development Planning (2004) and MSc. in Sustainable Development. Since 2004, she has provided policy reform advisory and consultancy services to several governments and international organisations. During her tenure as the SG of the JNCW, she led the development and adoption of Jordan’s National Action Plan on WPS, which is globally recognized by the UN Secretary General WPS report as a best practice. She also led the development of the National Strategy for Women in Jordan 2020-2025, and was fully aligned with the SDG2030. In 2019, Dr. Nims received Said Foundation Outstanding Achievement Prize, for her contribution to the development of the region.
