How children's imagination takes shape | Aggelina Christodouli | TEDxUniversityofMacedonia

What if a child’s drawing could come to life? Creator and entrepreneur Aggelina Christodouli made her childhood dream of owning a sewing machine come true—and built a company around it. In this inspiring talk, she shares how she founded the first European business that turns children’s drawings into handmade dolls, proving that imagination isn’t just child’s play—it’s the first step to shaping entire worlds. She explores the power of creativity, the value of nurturing young minds, and how children’s drawings hold entire worlds waiting to take shape. Aggelina Christodouli, is a creator and entrepreneur. She was born and lives in Thessaloniki. She studied Economics at Democritus University. In 2020 she created the first company in Europe that turns children's drawings into dolls and gives shape to any project of young and old people. For Aggelina, anything you want to create you have to imagine it first, but children use drawing to create stories and whole worlds. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
