My Journey with the Overlooked Humanities | Yayun Xiao | TEDxJXEFLS Youth
The speaker will explain the importance of humanities in our daily lives through his personal experience of participating in charity projects and founding clubs on campus. The speaker will share how he witnessed how the humanities influenced the individual's way of thinking and values and thus promoted the overall progress of society through interaction, education, and support with children. At the same time, the speaker will also emphasize how these disciplines play an important role in shaping a more just and equal social structure. This sharing aims to inspire everyone to realize that the humanities are not only the scope of academic research but also an important force for achieving social justice and promoting social progress.
