Nursing School: Coffee, Cramming, and Clever Ways to Learn! | Alreem Bukhamseen | TEDxACHS

Alreem opens up about her journey as a nursing student and the question she often asks herself: What if she had chosen a different path, like becoming a barista? In this video, she shares the challenges of memorization-heavy learning and how it affects creativity. Alreem is a fourth-year nursing student at Almoosa College of Health Sciences, known for her strong academic performance and active involvement in student life. She is a member of the student council and the Innovation Center, where she works to improve student experiences and contribute to healthcare solutions.Alreem is proud to represent Saudi Arabia as the first member of the International Council of Nurses (ICN) and the sole representative for the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (EMRO). She has also represented Almoosa College at the Magnet Accreditation of Almoosa Specialist Hospital and presented a poster at the first International Nursing Conference in Al Hassa.Beyond her studies, Alreem volunteers with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, applying her nursing skills to improve public health. She has also worked with Vision TV Channel, where she helped organize and plan the broadcast schedule to ensure smooth live programming.
