Using Social Media | Firdavs Khudoyberdiev | TEDxTermez Presidential School Youth

Using social media can significantly impact mental health, both positively and negatively. While it allows for connection and community-building, excessive use can lead to anxiety, depression, and feelings of inadequacy due to constant comparisons with others. Being aware of your social media habits and setting boundaries can help mitigate its potential risks on mental well-being. Firdavs Khudoyberdiev, born on June 26, 2008, is a senior student at the Presidential School in Termez, Uzbekistan, specializing in Chemistry and Biology. Aspiring to become a neurosurgeon, he is deeply passionate about medicine and driven by a desire to contribute to advancements in neuroscience and healthcare. With a strong commitment to academic excellence, Firdavs works diligently to master complex concepts and develop the skills necessary for a future in medicine. Beyond academics, Firdavs is actively involved in his school’s extracurricular life. As the co-captain of the "Eco Movement", he advocates for environmental conservation and leads initiatives to foster sustainable practices within his community. His dedication to ecology reflects his broader commitment to creating a positive impact on the world around him. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
