Music Moves Us, Connects Us, and Shapes Who We are | Ayla Hammes | TEDxBrown County Schools

In his TED Talk Music Moves Us, Connects Us, and Shapes Who We Are, 6th grader Adrian Coffman explores the powerful role music plays in our lives. With enthusiasm and heart, he shares how music brings people together, expresses emotions words can’t, and helps shape our identity. His talk is a rhythmic reminder that music is more than sound—it’s connection, emotion, and a universal language that unites us all. Ayla Hammes is a 6th grader at Brown County Middle School. She is the daughter of Kara and Clint Hammes and the older sister to Bree (and two cats named Thunder & Jingle). Her parents encourage her to be who she wants to be. Ayla joined TED-Ed to build confidence in speaking in front of a large crowd. She hopes that her speech inspires you to be your true self and encourages others to do the same! This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
