Wenn der große Mut die kleine Angst besiegt | Nora Dejaco | TEDxBolzano

Nora Dejaco takes the audience on a journey of reflection—on their own path, the choices they have made, and the patterns imposed by society. A journey that highlights the importance of key skills such as creativity, empathy, and clarity about one's values—essential tools for achieving meaningful goals and taking action. A concrete example of this approach is Thrive+, an association dedicated to gender equality and equal opportunities started by Nora in 2023, which now already has more then 100 active members in 3 countries, welcomed more than 800 participants at its Kick Off festival in 2023 and creates projects, services, events and more as an active contribution to societal transformation. But in an increasingly noisy world, how can we still listen to ourselves? It’s about looking inward with radical honesty, about making space for creative ideas and clear goals. It is about finding the courage to be ourselves, believe in ourselves —and to build authentic connections with others. Because personal change and activism for our future can lead to collective transformation. So, what's your motive for action? And what do we truly want to commit to? Nora Dejaco is actively engaged in the promotion of equal opportunities and self-determination. She works as an artist, creator of participatory change projects and is founder of Thrive+, the first FLINTA empowerment association in Italy. She also manages the AES - IN MOTION network for innovation in the productive sector. As a certified mental coach, she helps people reach their full potential. As a passionate musician, she is a member of the Schmusechor in Vienna. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
