Hace más de una década, Sebastián apostó por impulsar la innovación y el emprendimiento en el mundo rural. Comprendiendo que los cambios más significativos y sostenibles no vienen solo desde afuera, sino que nacen desde el interior de las propias comunidades. En esta charla, Sebastián comparte generosamente los aprendizajes del trabajo constante de su organización en el territorio, destacando la importancia de observar con atención, escuchar con respeto y valorar las diferencias como base para el diálogo y la construcción colectiva. Su experiencia nos recuerda que los procesos de transformación no son simples ni inmediatos, pero que cuando se trabaja desde adentro, desde la identidad y la fuerza de cada comunidad, el potencial de cambio se vuelve verdaderamente poderoso. Licenciado en Negocios y máster en Innovación y Emprendimiento de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Su compromiso con la transformación social y el desarrollo local lo llevó a la innovación social, desde donde ha colaborado en la implementación de más de 6.900 proyectos en comunidades rurales de Chile, generando un impacto significativo en el territorio.A través de su gestion, se ha destacado por construir visiones de desarrollo compartidos, fomentar la participación comunitaria y reducir brechas de bienestar en contextos rurales. Desde 2015, Sebastián forma parte de Ashoka , la red global de emprendedores sociales, y fue miembro de la comunidad Global Shapers del Foro Económico Mundial.Desde el 2011 ha trabajado en la región de La Araucanía convencido de la riqueza cultural, social y económica del territorio, enfatizando la diversidad y la complejidad de la ruralidad, desafiando las simplificaciones y caricaturas con las que muchas veces se representa la región. En este territorio, la historia se teje a diario, en dinámicas que trascienden lo visible, y es allí donde la innovación social encuentra su mayor sentido.
