In his TEDxCalle Aldama talk, Las Diferencias Culturales Nos Enriquecen y Abren un Mundo de Posibilidades, Diego Jiang explores how embracing diverse perspectives is the key to building successful commercial relationships. Drawing from his own experiences navigating multiple cultures, he reveals how understanding traditions, values, and ways of thinking can unlock new markets, strengthen collaborations, and drive innovation. His talk is a compelling reminder that in business—and in life—diversity is not just an advantage, it’s a necessity. Diego Jiang, originally from Tonghua City, Jilin Province, China, is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise bridging China and Mexico. He holds a Bachelor’s in Hispanic Literature from Jilin University and a Master’s in Education from Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico City. With over 15 years of leadership experience at global corporations, he joined China Southern Airlines in 2017, serving as Commercial Director and later as Director for Latin America. As Executive Director of the Guangzhou Tourism Promotion Center in Mexico, he led initiatives to strengthen cultural and tourism ties between the two nations. Currently, he is Sales Manager at Mindray, a global leader in medical technology, where he continues to drive innovation and collaboration.
