Cancer treatment has revolutionized in the last 30 years and continues to evolve into complex technologies resulting in better survival and quality of life outcomes. This TEDx talk tells the evolution of cancer care from empirical chemotherapy to breakthrough technology on radiation to Immunotherapy and CAR-T cell therapy Dr Reetu Jain comes with an experience of over 25 years. She leads the department of Bone Marrow Transplant. The department under her lead has performed nearly 600 Bone Marrow Transplants which is highest in Maharashtra. Her team has achieved successful transplants for patients of several hematological disorders like thalassemia, aplastic anemia,Sickle cell anaemia,fanconi’s anemia to malignant diseases including Leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma,neuroblastoma,Germ cell umor and sarcomas.The patient survival rates are at par with the national and international centers. She has several national & international publications to her credits and is eminent member of various globally recognized associations.
