In this speech it will be explained how any group is defined by an ideal image of the perfect group member that lives in the minds of people in the group. This image is the group identity. The leader of the group is the group member that looks and behaves most like this ideal image. The leader replicates the ideal image. On the basis of this foundational model one can understand the identity of a leader, the actions of a leader, the power of a leader, and the presence of a leader. The conclusion will be that the foundation of leadership is embracing the ideal image that defines the group. Dr. Johannes is a responsible principal, who inspired hundreds of students each year. Özgentürk started his career as a reporter in Günaydın Newspaper’s Izmir office and continued his career in Sabah Newspaper in Istanbul. During his journalism studies, he traveled all over Anatolia, observed many political leaders and political events and wrote interviews. He was a war reporter in Romania, Abkhazia and during the Gulf War. We first heard his name as a journalist. He started writing columns in Sabah Newspaper in 1990 and his interviews made a splash. He would write interesting portraits and interviews on the page reserved for him in Sabah Newspaper. His columns were collected into books over the years under the titles Bir Yudum İnsan, Unutulmayanlar, Yıllar and Yüzler.
