Korku olmasaydı hayat nasıl olurdu? Peki ya kaygı ve endişe? Ya diğer duygularımız; öfke, utanç, suçluluk… Duygular bazen bizi zorlar, bazen de hayatta kalmamızı sağlar. Ama gerçekten neden varlar? Düşüncelerimiz duygularımızı nasıl şekillendiriyor? Duygularımızı nasıl anlayıp, nasıl kullanmak bizim için daha yararlıdır?Psikiyatrist Prof. Dr. Hakan Türkçapar, bu konuşmasında duyguların bilinmeyen yönlerini anlatıyor ve zihnimizin iç dünyasına ışık tutuyor.
Dr. Türkcapar 1990 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesini, 1995 yılında psikiyatri ihtisasını bitirdi. Uzmanlık sonrası 1997’de Bilişsel Davranışçı Psikoterapiler alanında ABD’de Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research’de Bilişsel psikoterapi eğitimi aldı. 1999 yılında New York Ellis Institute’de Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy eğitimi sonrası REBT (Akılcı Duygusal Terapi) alanında önce Temel Sertifika (Primary Certificate), ardından da 2008 yılında da ileri düzey sertifika (Advanced Certificate) aşamalarını tamamladı.
2000 yılında Psikiyatri Doçenti, 2012 yılında Psikiyatri profesörü olan Dr. Türkçapar, Psikiyatrinin yanı sıra, Sosyal Antropoloji alanında yüksek lisans ve doktorasını tamamlayarak, 2009 yılında sosyal antropolojide bilim doktoru ünvanını aldı.
2003 yılında Bilişsel Terapi alanında yeterliliği değerlendiren uluslararası bilişsel terapi akademisi -Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT)- tarafından Bilişsel Terapist olarak sertifiye edildi. Aynı yıl alana olan katkıları nedeniyle Akademinin Fellow üyeliğine, 2005 yılında Akademinin sertifikasyon kuruluna alındı. 2013 yılında ise Akademi tarafından Bilişsel Davranışçı Psikoterapi Eğiticisi ve Danışmanı olarak sertifiye edildi. Dr. Türkçapar’ ın, bilişsel davranışçı terapi alanında “Bilişsel Terapi Temel İlkeler ve Uygulama” (2007) ve “Klinik Uygulamada Bilişsel Terapi: Depresyon” (2009), “Fark Et Düşün Hisset Yaşa” (2019) başlıklı üç kitabı ve sayısı yüzü aşan makalesi yayınlanmış, 1999 yılından itibaren çeşitli merkezlerde ve kongrelerde bilişsel davranışçı terapi konusunda alanda çalışan profesyonellere dönük eğitim çalışmaları yapmıştır. Yine aynı alanda bilimsel çalışmalara yer veren Bilişsel Davranışçı Psikoterapi ve Araştırmalar dergisinin de kurucu editörüdür.
2005-2012 arasında Ankara Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesi Psikiyatri kliniği şefliği, 2008-2011 arasında Etlik ihtisas hastanesi psikiyatri kliniği kurucu şefliği ve 2012-2019 arasında Hasan Kalyoncu Üniversitesi Psikoloji Bölüm Başkanlığını yapan Dr. Türkçapar, halen Bilişsel Davranışçı Psikoterapiler Derneği başkanlığı ve Ankara Sosyal Bilimler Üniversitesi Psikoloji Bölümü öğretim üyeliği ve bölüm başkanlığı görevlerini yürütmektedir. In 2022, he was named 'Eslite Hong Kong Top-10 Writer' in Chinese literature and fiction, and his works have been among Eslite's Top-10 Books annually from 2021 to 2023. Kevin has spoken at nearly 100 schools since 2018, encouraging students to embrace their uniqueness and follow their dreams. In 2023, he earned a Master in Counseling from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, receiving Dean’s List Honors. The following year, he founded Wounded Healer Counseling, dedicating his career to providing professional counseling services to those in need in his city. Kong Wan Ki, KK was born deaf and has been living in a silent world ever since. She uses a “wuwei” (non-action) approach to face everyday challenges. KK is the cofounder of the Hong Kong Sign Language Association, a grassroots organization which advocates for the use of Hong Kong Sign Language and offers various educational outreach programs as well as training for would-be sign language interpreters. Because sign language is still relatively unknown in Hong Kong, KK is committed to sharing sign language and deaf culture through various medium, such as paintings, designs, and videos. She will share how people can optimize their living spaces despite limited resources and space, and how letting go of physical clutter can lead to emotional and mental clarity. From decluttering homes to organizing lives, her journey will inspire us to embrace simplicity, prioritize what truly matters, and create space for new opportunities. Orange, a Hong Kong native, transitioned from a 13-year career as a foreign exchange dealer to a professional organizer, founding "JuppUk Decluttering" on Facebook in 2016. She has since impacted over 400 households with her decluttering services and delivered numerous workshops. Orange authored "JuppUk - 50 Clutter Farewell Proposals" and further established her presence in the media with appearances on ViuTV shows "Free Your Home" and "Go! Clean Up Your Mess!" She also founded the Hong Kong Association of Professional Organizing (HAPO), through which she offers courses tailored to the unique lifestyle of Hong Kong and collaborates with NGOs to aid those in need. Orange holds multiple certifications, NAPO Residential Organizing and Workplace Productivity Specialist Certificates, ICD's Level II Chronic Disorganization and Hoarding Specialist Certifications, and a Level 1 Consultant Certification from the Japan Housekeeping Association.
