Desde que foi convidada a montar um laboratório de gases de efeito estufa no Brasil, a pesquisadora Luciana Gatti já fez mais de mil coletas de amostras da atmosfera. Os resultados de anos de estudos são alarmantes. Luciana enfatiza que o desmatamento zero já não é mais suficiente e nos apresenta uma solução para o problema da aceleração dos eventos extremos. Luciana Gatti é uma cientista apaixonada por transformar conhecimento em ação. Através de sua pesquisa na Amazônia, ela tem desvendado os mistérios da floresta e alertado para os impactos das mudanças climáticas. Como coordenadora do LaGEE (Laboratorio de Gases de Efeito Estufa - INPE), Luciana tem formado uma nova geração de pesquisadores e seu trabalho tem influenciado tomadores de decisão. Sua missão é utilizar a ciência para construir um futuro mais sustentável para a Amazônia e para o planeta.
