Il dilemma in amore: mente o cuore? | Mary Baccaglini | TEDxCollediValdElsa
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx

- 11:32Naimah Saadiq "Don't Miss Out on Becoming Who You Really Are" | Naimah Saadiq | TEDxWesternIowaTechNaimah Saadiq believes there are many versions of each of us, but the version we choose to become is based on a weighted value system shaped by the values we place on all the "co-signers" in our life. We have many co-signers who help invest in us, and we can’t deny the impact of cultural conditioning, responses to experiences, and people's opinions of who we are. Ultimately, we sign off on who we become, and it is important to not miss out on who we want to become. Naimah Saadiq is an Instructor for the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. She received her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies/Criminology from Iowa State University and her Masters of Public Safety Leadership Administration from Arizona State University. Before joining ILEA she was a Senior EEO Consultant/Civil Rights Investigator for the Office of Equity and Inclusion at Arizona State University (ASU). She was also the Police Personnel Recruiter for the ASU Police Department.
