Clément Vidal nous invite à repenser notre existence en nous confrontant à l’immensité de l’univers. Malgré notre apparente insignifiance cosmique, la vie sur Terre crée de l’ordre et de la complexité. En évoquant l’évolution de notre civilisation vers une noosphère globale et en imaginant un futur où nous pourrions devenir “stellivores”, capables de puiser l’énergie au cœur des étoiles, il nous propose une vision audacieuse : celle d’un cycle vital où, même face à l’inévitable déclin de l’univers dicté par l’entropie, la vie se réinvente et offre peut-être la clé pour engendrer un nouveau commencement cosmique. Clément Vidal est philosophe, chercheur en exobiologie et prospectiviste du grand futur.En 2022-2023 il a été chercheur visiteur au Berkeley SETI research center à University of California Berkeley.
