A thought-provoking take on authenticity in an era of curated perfection. Reine Azzi challenges us to find strength in discomfort, foster creativity through discord, and rethink what it means to be genuinely human in a polished digital world. Reine Azzi teaches language and liberal arts courses at the Lebanese American University. She also coordinates the Liberal Arts curriculum. She completed her Ed.D. in TESOL at the University of Exeter, and her research interest is in critical pedagogy and its impact on language teaching in Lebanon. She is also passionate about education technology and the potential disruptive power of Generative AI. She firmly believes in the need to actively engage and collaborate with teachers in order to debate shared beliefs, assumptions, and teaching practices.
