A Whisper In My Ear: Dealing with Criticism | Simardeep Kaur Chhabra | TEDxChoithramSchoolIndore
Criticism is an inevitable part of life, but how we respond defines our growth. It’s natural to feel hurt when criticized, but introspection reveals whether there's truth in it. Balancing our outward persona—our charisma and confidence—with our inner values—character and integrity—is crucial. Like a pencil’s lead, what lies within us is what makes a lasting impact. Criticism, when approached with patience and open-mindedness, becomes a tool for self-improvement. Instead of reacting instantly, we must pause, fact-check, and reflect, seeking guidance from trusted mentors. Correcting ourselves, even when the truth is hard to accept, helps us grow. Simardeep Kaur Chhabra, a grade 11 student at Tirathbai Kalachand School, is known for her creativity, enthusiasm, and love for learning.
