Nascida na Amazónia e formada nas grandes cidades, partilha o seu percurso pessoal entre dois mundos: a floresta e a metrópole, o tempo mítico e o tempo cronometrado.
Com um olhar critico sobre os limites da lei e do mercado, que valorizam mais uma árvore morta do que viva — ignorando o seu papel essencial no ciclo natural da vida. Um valor cultural, ecológico e económico ainda desvalorizado, mas fundamental para o futuro.
Márcia dissolve as fronteiras entre direito, sustentabilidade e cultura. Após uma carreira no setor financeiro e corporativo — como fundadora de um dos principais escritórios de advocacia do Brasil, o MMADVS, decidiu retribuir à terra que considera o lar da sua alma: a Floresta Amazónica. Parte da terceira geração de pioneiros na Amazónia brasileira, mas a primeira a desenvolver um modelo sustentável, cofundou a Ecoarts há 18 anos com a sua mãe e cinco irmãs, transformando-a num negócio socioambiental dedicado à sustentabilidade da floresta amazónica.Desde 2017, a Ecoarts tem-se focado em criar conexões com marcas internacionais de luxo que procuram abraçar a restauração florestal, através da interseção entre arte, sustentabilidade e advocacia em defesa da Amazónia e dos seus habitats. Este conceito inovador é chamado Advocaseed: Advocacia para o Futuro, que traz soluções sustentáveis para empresas e defende os direitos da natureza e das culturas ancestrais. He enjoys learning and is always looking for opportunities to meet new people. He is a budding photographer, as well as being an avid reader and also working on paper-craft, namely quilling. He values his academics and his extra-curricular, which is why he practices badminton and cricket. His favorite subject areas include math, science, and history.
