Green Parenting,Raising Eco-Conscious Kids via Circular Economy | Marva Ismatillo | TEDxBMU Tashkent

How can parents raise children who are mindful of the environment and committed to sustainability? This talk explores the role of families in shaping a greener future. She introduces the concept of a circular economy and discusses how responsible parenting choices—ranging from sustainable consumption to eco-friendly habits—can foster a generation of environmentally conscious individuals. Her talk sheds light on practical strategies that make sustainability a natural part of everyday family life. A third-year student at British Management University, Marva Ismatillo doesn’t just think about the future—she actively shapes it. Witnessing firsthand how everyday parenting choices impact the environment, she embarked on a mission to promote sustainable parenting. Passionate about environmental advocacy, she explores eco-conscious solutions for families, bridging the gap between parenting and sustainability. Beyond her activism, Marva is an active volunteer, contributing to global initiatives with organizations like FIFA and the Turkic Council. She also embraces a balanced lifestyle, finding joy in sports and tango. Passionate, determined, and driven by purpose, she is proof that even small changes can lead to big transformations. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
