Power of AI in fostering togetherness | Vinesh Kanaa B | TEDxCPS Chennai Youth
When a desperate call for blood donation failed to reach potential donors in time, it sparked a moment of clarity for this engineering student. Witnessing firsthand how broken our current systems of emergency medical communication can be, they realized that the same artificial intelligence technologies powering our social media feeds could be redirected to serve a higher purpose - saving lives. Their journey from that initial moment of frustration to developing an AI-powered solution demonstrates how technology, when guided by human empathy, can bridge critical gaps in our healthcare systems and create real impact in moments when every second counts. A budding social entrepreneur, aspiring to leverage DL/ML technology in creating AI-driven social enterprises, currently pursuing Computer Science Engineering at VIT. An HMCA awardee, WSC finalist, Vinesh is an ardent believer in “The power of AI in fostering togetherness,” aiming to build a social innovation movement that transforms society for a more just, sustainable, and equitable world.
