ADHD in women and girls is often overlooked, misdiagnosed, or completely invisible. Making it an Invisible struggle. In this powerful talk, Karley sheds light on the unique struggles women and girls face with ADHD—challenging stereotypes, sharing personal insights, and advocating for better recognition and support. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood or unseen, this talk is for you. Karley is a first-generation psychology student at Rutgers New Brunswick, a mental health advocate, and an aspiring psychologist passionate about shedding light on neurodiversity and mental health. Through her work, she aims to challenge stigma, promote awareness, and help people feel seen and understood. She is also an aspiring content creator, blending her love for psychology, storytelling, and personal experiences to make an impact. Karley hopes to continue using her voice to spark important conversations and inspire change.
