Un'idea apparentemente folle e piena di ostacoli, ma così potente da trasformare il carcere in un palcoscenico di speranza. In questo talk, raccontano come la bellezza dell'arte possa abbattere ogni barriera, fisica e sociale, e cambiare davvero delle vite. Mireya Cannata e Carlo Imparato hanno costruito, insieme al regista Sandro Baldacci, il primo teatro in Europa dentro un carcere, realizzato ex novo con il contributo degli stessi detenuti. Un’idea apparentemente folle, utopistica e piena di ostacoli. Mireya Cannata e Carlo Imparato lavorano con i detenuti della casa circondariale di Marassi a Genova da oltre 20 anni. La loro idea è semplice: il carcere è percepito come un luogo brutto e desolante, mentre il teatro rappresenta la bellezza e la creatività. Attraverso il bello si può portare nuova luce in un ambiente altrimenti oscuro.
