¿La tecnología nos conecta o nos aísla? En un mundo de selfies y likes, esta charla cuestiona las causas de la soledad no deseada y propone una mirada diferente sobre el papel de las redes sociales en nuestra necesidad de compañía. Dra. Europea en Filosofía, Premio Nacional de Investigación 2022 del Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación de España, es la mayor experta en Estudios del Aburrimiento de nuestro país y reconocida internacionalmente por sus investigaciones en esta rama. Ha sido la primera persona en España en situar en el centro del diálogo público y científico la hipótesis de que el aburrimiento disfuncional es un factor de riesgo que pone en peligro el bienestar físico y mental de las personas mayores en residencias. Actualmente, lidera como IP el proyecto "PRE-BORED", financiado por el programa H2020 de la UE, y es Profesora Contratada Doctora en ESIC University. Previamente, fue investigadora y profesora asistente en la Harvard University. Es autora del libro La enfermedad del aburrimiento, conferenciante, formadora de equipos sociosanitarios y colaboradora asidua en los medios de comunicación. También dirige la International Society of Boredom Studies y la Journal of Boredom Studies.
