A pioneer of pharmacy practice in India, he introduced postgraduate and Pharm D programs, transforming pharmacy education nationwide.As President of the Pharmacy Council of India (2003–2021), he played a vital role in regulating education and practice. He also served as Chairman of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission’s Scientific Body (2008–2013), setting pharmaceutical standards. Internationally, he was a delegate to the United States Pharmacopeia Convention and served on the ACPE International Services Commission (2015–2021).Dr. Suresh’s contributions have earned him multiple honorary doctorates and prestigious awards.
